On behalf of the Registrars Committee, I want to thank Beverly Balger, registrar for The Palmer Museum of Art and her committee of Beth Merritt, director of collections and research for the Cincinnati Museum Center and Dixie Neilson, registrar for the Harn Museum of Art for the arduous task of surveying the salaries of registrars and collection managers across the nation. We all know how all-encompassing our jobs are and now we have statistics to prove our worth.

       Beverly and her committee have put in tireless hours writing the survey, analyzing statistics and reporting the results for the Registrars Committee. John Roche with Crozier Fine Arts asked in Los Angeles in May 1998, if Crozier could assist in the market analysis of the survey. Mr. Roche kindly volunteered the used of statistical software to analyze the data received by the committee and Crozier Fine Arts is sponsoring the printing of the finished survey for our members. We sincerely thank Mr. Roche and Crozier Fine Arts for their assistance in this project.

       I know we all wish to thank everyone associated with this project.
