In 1994 the Registrars Committee leadership acknowledged that many members were unable to attend professional conferences. The following year, the RC-AAM newsletter, The Condition Report, included its first reports back from the AAM meeting. This publication included summaries of sessions on packing and shipping, hazardous materials in collections, on-line information, security and theft, emergency planning, and professional development. Since then, The Condition Report included AAM session reviews on issues central to the work of collections professionals.

In 2006 the RC-AAM leadership decided to remove the AAM session reviews from The Condition Report and make them available on the RC-AAM website. With this decision, the RC-AAM leadership hopes that current and future members will be able to access professional conference information for years to come.
